Recipe for Garlic Oil
Time to get down to the basics of how to make garlic oil for medicinal purposes.
Since garlic is a powerful antibiotic, we need to have a way to apply it topically to cure many different ailments. This is where garlic oil comes into play.
The recipe provided here is simple to make. It requires 2 parts freshly minced garlic and 3 parts olive oil.
After selecting healthy and clean garlic cloves, mince. A garlic press comes in very handy for this purpose – mincing the garlic as well as removing the papery covering. Measure the minced garlic. Add an equal amount of oil and mix them together thoroughly. Add half as much olive oil once more to this mixture and blend well.
Put the olive oil and garlic mixture in a covered glass jar. Set it on a sunny windowsill for the next 2 weeks so the oil can become infused with the garlic. Gently shake the jar several times a day.
After 2 weeks, strain the mixture through a cloth removing the solids. Store the oil in a colored glass jar in the refrigerator. Storing the oil in a bottle with a dropper makes it easy to dispense the oil for medicinal purposes.
